Alright, now that the richedit boxes can contain a graphic, I'm going to be moving on to the next thing on my list, and it's a big one. This will be the overhaul on the forum output, where users can design (and save) their own templates.
I'm thinking the template will use tags, something like this: [Name] [Race] [Class1]/[Class2]/[Class3] [Feat(1, Selected)] [Feat(2, Selected)] [Feat(3, Selected)] That's just a subset of the tags we will need, of course. If that were the template, the output would be something like: Zherina Wolfe Human Cleric 18/Paladin 2 Feat: Spell Penetration (Selected) - 1 Feat: Extent Spell (Human Bonus) - 1 Feat: Empower Healing Spell (Selected) - 3 I figure we will also need some form of formatting tags for tables, whitespace, blanks lines, text color and so on. Basically we're talking about putting in a mini-compiler here into the planner to convert the template tags into a form that the DDO (and other) forums can understand. Anyway, the idea is to have a template tag box the users can type in, and another box showing the example output. Once they have something they like, they can save that template. And of course, reload it later on for any character. I figure we can even accept templates made by players to add to the official planner for other people to use. Keep in mind, I'll be working on this in between working on DC as well, so give me a bit of time, heh. I have a lot going on right now. If you guys have suggestions, please do let me know. I haven't even figured out what tags we will need yet, so it's still in a very early stage of design.

I really love the direction we are taking the planner as we add new features. I agree there are going to be a lot of tags (for formatting and data). Once you get started I'll check in on it and let you know what I think. Keep up the good work Ron.
