    Post 3.11.02 Bugs

    First, let me say thanks for all the hard work you guys do.

    I'm a new user, so I don't know if these are bugs are "old" or "new.

    1) Scepters not displayed in item builder (using club for now)
    2) A lot of the suffixes are not displayed in item builder (Minor Spell Penetration II, Superior Corrosion I, etc)
    3) Importing a save file does not update the level
    4) Poison Resistance not selectable for cloaks
    5) +1 Swimming not selectable for belt
    6) Natural Armor +1 no selectable for bracers
    7) +2 Fortitude not selectable for bracers
    8) Unbalancing not selectable for robe.

    BTW - When is the next release planned?

    We will go through your list and add those things. Equipment is still a pretty new system, so there will be gaps in the coverage here and there. It's kind of hard to keep up with the changes the devs make as well as put in all the old stuff, heh. But we'll get on it.

    I'm not sure I understand bug #3? Can you clarify? What is the expected versus actual behavior?

    BTW - When is the next release planned?
    There is no set date. Right now the internal version of the planner is broken due to my messing around with the screen resizing functions. I'm slowly getting it back into a releasable state, but it's one graphic system at a time, so it's pretty tedious and slow work. Fortunately, I'm almost done.

    After that, we are going to upgrade the spell display system. Then work on any outstanding bugs that are left.

    At that point I think we'll be ready for a release. Maybe

    Scepters are technically a club in the game, they just have different skins.

    Items are being worked on now, so a lot are getting added and updated. After I finish with named items (only have weapons left to do) I will be working on suffixes and prefixes.

    I'm also confused by what you mean about importing and updating levels.

    Post Importing Save File Does Not Update Level

    When you first launch the DDO CP, it comes up ready to create a new Level 1 character. When I import the data for a Level 5 character that I saved last week, I would expect the level indicator to change to Level 5 instead of remaining at Level 1.

    Hope this helps.

    BTW - I'm a software developer, so I understand the challenges of developing software when the requirements are a moving target (especially on your own time).

    Default Improved damage reduction

    I`m unsure whether you`re supposed to be able to take it twice, as the tooltip doesn`t specify. Screenshot link below.

    We have that feat tagged as "multiple" in the data file (which just means you can take it more than once). That's why it's coming up again in the selection list. So it's working as intended, at least as far as the code goes. I presume it is multiply selectable in-game as well, or we wouldn't have tagged it like that.

    I can double check it though just to make sure. Easy enough to do

    You can indeed take Improved Damage Reduction, multiple times. Was working on a WF fighter once upon a time, that every normal character feat selected it. (Besides 1 for toughness) Pretty nice being able to have 10 DR as a level 20 fighter with no gear.

    Default Bugs found

    I noticed that Khopesh is missing in the item builder.

    Favored soul can't select the prestige enhancement Angel of Vengeance II because they can't select Unyielding Sovereignty etc. Favored soul gets an automatic feat at level 1 called Favored by the Sovereign Host (or any of the other 3).

    The point is that Unyielding Sovereignty should always be available for Favored Souls selecting the bonus feat Favored by the Sovereign Host. This worked in prior versions.

    Yeah, the Khopesh bug has been found and fixed.

    And just testing the AoVII, not sure what the problem could be, but for the version coming the next release, it is working, so whatever it was has been fixed
