    Default New Name???

I'm considering changing the name of the company from "R&J Cyberware" to something else, the "something else" not yet determined

I've never really been the biggest fan of that name, and it wasn't my idea to name it that in the first place.

It would necessitate moving the site, along with the databases, which would be a pain in the backside, but not impossible.

    Just something I'm mulling over...

    Any thoughts?

If anyone has any suggestions for a new name, I'm all ears.

I liked Sandbox. But Sandbox.com, SandboxGames.com, and SandboxProductions.com are all taken

That's going to be the big problem if we do change, finding a name I like, that is easy and descriptive, and is not already taken, heh.

Aye, but since there are companies already using the name, I think I better not use that particular one. Last thing I need is a trademark fight with Hasbro

Just a thing to think about, if you think of something interesting. I'll keep it in the back of my head. Won't happen tommorow or anything

Well, if you don't use the word "games" there might or might not be an issue.

I've got a domain name in mind that involves the words "Heavy Lift Industries" but I'll probably just use the initials. Am holding off for now til I get to a point where I can run a low-power box 24/7 to host my own mail.

What do you guys think of Substrate Games? It fits with "Enzyme" in a molecular biology sense (which is a fitting theme given my degrees), and it's available as a web site.

    Anyone want to opine?

It's obscure, but I like it.

    Electronic Innovation?

For a few years I've had this idea mulling over for a video for RJC that would use that phrase. Video was going to have something to do with robots playing ball on a beach then one of them dropping it into the sea and reaching down to pick it up but pausing and actually recognising itself in the rippling water. Corny I know but I still wanted to try it. Occasionally I go back and have a look at what I've done for it. Did a quick model of a robot for it before. Nothing fancy though. Back when I was still learning to model well
