Welcome to the forums! What brings you here? Which of the myriad of programs that is being worked on I mean

The forums are very well moderated and the one or two spam posts we've recieved have been deleted immediately and their IP address ranges banned.

'Nuff said. Except it's been more than one or two. We have a pretty good list of banned addresses now. It's just no one ever sees them because I check these boards many times a day, and such posts are immediately removed.

We get a lot of spammers that create accounts here (and I say that based on their account names which are pretty obviously spam names) yet they never post anything. I'm still trying to figure out why they do that, hehe.

The text GRIENlord wrote seems very generic to me.

    I'm 95% sure "he" is a spambot

Aye, that's what I thought too, which is why I didn't reply to it at first. But I decided to give the benifit of the doubt and not erase it.

I honest to god do not understand what benefit spammers get from posting this stuff, or registering on the forums at all. It just baffles me

    ROFL!

Yea we need an amendment to the First law of Robotics:

"A robot may not injure or annoy a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm or piss the human off"
